Our Services

Passara Pradeshiya Sabha is one regional powered authority for the 41 grama niladhari divsions of Passara Divisional Secretariat. Maintaining public health services, maintaining public utility services, maintaining all activities on public roads of division, To maintain the amenities and welfare of the public. Protecting and developing the division is the work and task entrusted to this council to manage and administer. Therefore, the purpose of the Pradeshiya sabha is to perform the functions and duties that are constitutionally assigned to it legally and more effectively.
  1. Implementation of the provisions of the written rules assigned under the Local Council Act
  2. Implementation of the provisions of the local council under other written laws
  3. Prevention of infectious diseases and epidemics
  4. Promoting and protecting health education, maternal and child health
  5. Regularization and control of dangerous and unsavory trades

  7. Construction and maintenance of divisional roads’ drains, pavements, culverts, ditches etc.
