The Citizens’ Statute is a general agreement on duties and responsibilities between Pradeshiya Sabha and citizens.

For us you,
- Correctly complete the application form related to the services and provide the necessary documents.
- To participate in meetings and discussions called by the Pradeshiya Sabha for the public requirements of the Sabha area
- Regularly payment of taxes and fees due to the Pradeshiya Sabha
- Avoiding irregular waste disposal
- If any construction is done, inform the Pradeshiya Sabha about it and get the relevant approval.
- Providing support for the protection and maintenance of public properties such as public roads, community halls, street lights, cemeteries, playgrounds, children’s parks etc. in our area.
- Giving your contribution in carrying out the community contribution development works carried out by the Pradeshiya Sabha.
- Sparing use of water resources.
- Safeguard the equipment and machinery of the Pradeshiya Sabha taken on rent and return the machinery and equipment as soon as possible after fulfilling the requirement.
